Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Assistant Construction Coordinator will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish. They are a key resource in maintaining all construction file records for each project and providing critical performance information to the team. The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for helping to oversee the departmental software and solutions, ticketing system and training for the Construction team; while championing and supporting general needs of Construction leadership.
 

Career Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project AIA, project associates’ costs such as fuel/lodging, etc.
  • Inputs project setup and details to Viewpoint software.
  • Managing the related change order, job phase, and purchase order functions in Viewpoint
  • Manages permits and the permit process.
  • Coordinates approval routing and distribution for documents.
  • Prepares purchase orders, PPM reports, Submittals, Cos, meeting minutes, or other documentation for Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Creates project resources in designated software and ensures records are input in system.
  • Collects and maintains compliance for COI’s and contracts for frēijē and sub contractors.
  • Ensures key project contracts, documents, & reports are created and distributed to field and subs.
  • Maintains project filing system – including all software application, shared drives, and hard files.

Required Education/Knowledge/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Proven experience in construction project coordinator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, terminology and best practices
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little direction.
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure and interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner
