Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing internal and external talent acquisition strategies to strengthen the organization's capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. The role will focus on implementing and managing talent acquisition programs and resources (e.g. LinkedIn, Glass Door, industry resources) that positively strengthen the organization's capabilities in attracting, assessing, selecting and identifying top talent. This role will also provide general support to the Human Resources & Training team by developing, implementing, coordinating and administering human resource activities.

Essential Duties

  • Conduct full lifecycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and the offer process to expedite recruiting needs with qualified candidates; develop results-driven staffing strategies that meet current & future needs.
  • Facilitate an organized, compliant and efficient recruitment process by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, files, and notes related to candidate interactions, statuses, etc. to ensure full compliance with all legal and internal established requirements.
  • Prepare appropriate interview materials including resume copies, scorecards, assessment documents/information, and assignment materials, etc.
  • Utilize and maintain an applicant tracking system to keep accurate notes and provide appropriate and timely responses to candidates including EEO/AAP reporting and applicant tracking, to ensure policies are followed, reports are processed, records are accurate.
  • Write and place position postings both internally and externally utilizing various media to ensure organizational opportunities are effectively communicated.
  • Maintain welcoming relationships with organizational business units with a key emphasis on open and consistent communication.
  • Assist in conducting as-needed recruitment meetings with business unit leaders to assess departmental needs. Conducting recruitment strategy meetings, market open positions, review resumes, screen applications, interviews, reference checks and related activities to ensure timely, compliant, and thorough staffing practices.
  • Partner with Marketing to support external recruiting events including recruitment fairs and open houses.
  • Administer exit interviews to exiting employees and assist with analysis of organizational turnover to continually recruit better talent and foster team member engagement.
  • Primarily functions within a support role, assisting all team members on the HR & Training team. This candidate will have the opportunity to support projects within HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Training, and HR compliance.
  • This role is responsible for providing overall support to the team members of the credit union through developing, implementing, coordinating, and the administration of Human Resource activities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree – General Studies: Preferred

Experience

Two to five years of Recruiting experience

Skills & Abilities

Basic understanding of job functions and operations at all levels of the company.
Knowledge of training systems and resources.
Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Knowledge of recruitment sources and networks.
