A little about us

Cedar City is the largest community in Iron County and is known as the 'gateway to the parks' due to exciting tourism found in Utah's best National parks. We are also known for the Utah Shakespearean Festival, providing a professional quality of talent from around the world. Southern Utah University is the home of the festival, providing liberal arts and sciences, and elementary and secondary teacher education programs.

Day to day as a Softball League Supervisor

As our Seasonal Softball League Supervisor, you'll put your expertise in leisure and recreational program planning to good use. Your skills in public contact and promoting recreation programs will shine as you coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and ensure effective communication among participants. With your ability to maintain detailed records and officiate games with a solid understanding of sports rules, you'll lead the league with finesse.

What we're looking for in a Softball League Supervisor

To excel as our Seasonal Softball League Supervisor, you should be well-versed in recreation activities and comfortable working evenings and weekends to accommodate game schedules. A broad understanding of various sports and recreation activities is key, along with prior experience in officiating, ideally at a high school level. Possessing a valid Utah driver's license is a must for traveling to different game locations. Your passion for sports and knack for organization will be your secret weapons in this role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Experience in recreation activities.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Should have a general knowledge of all sports and recreation activities.
  • Must have experience in officiating at some level. (High school level preferred.
  • Possession of valid Utah driver's license.
