JOB SUMMARY:

The Creative Coordinator supports the creative team by managing design processes and art deliverables. Key duties include maintaining the GOOS database, collaborating with departments, managing the art server, ensuring smooth schedules, editing art files, and assisting with freelancer setup.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Support the creative team and perform the tasks necessary to execute the design process and art deliverables.
  • Core responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the operation of Global’s Online Operating System (GOOS). This is our online creative database of artwork which will require daily maintenance.
  • Working with various departments on the evolution of the GOOS system.
  • Upkeep of the creative ftp/internal art server.
  • Ensure planning schedules run smoothly within the North American art department.
  • Oversee the editing of art file specs to meet needs for various creative projects. Provide links to high res files from our server upon request across all departments.
  • Create roughs for the POF (print order form) process and maintain the upkeep and progress of POF for each stage of the design and artwork process. Work with creative, production, and brand managers to maintain current grab sheets
  • Assist in setting up new freelancers in our internal systems.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • At least two years’ experience in a creative or design role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience using project management tools like Asana for tracking and managing tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Photography studio background a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day.
  • Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
