REPORTS TO: Director of Healthcare Partnership


PURPOSE

The Site Development Specialist serves as a member of the healthcare partnership team, contributing to the overall success and growth of Smith Chason College. This role is key in expanding the College’s network of clinical sites and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with healthcare organizations. The Site Development Specialist focuses on identifying and acquiring clinical sites for externships such as hospitals, clinics, physician groups and other healthcare-related entities. The Site Development Specialist collaborates with internal teams to execute strategic plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare partnerships, business development, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with high-level industry supervisors and management teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Skilled in working independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritizing effectively
  • A results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving goals
  • Possesses high ethical standards and an honest, open, and consistent approach to working with peers, employees, and staff


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Required job duties and responsibilities include:
  • Support the College’s strategic plan of recognizing that clinical sites for externships are the key to growth/scale of the school
  • Strategic acquisition of healthcare partnerships that create new clinical sites in new regions
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities that align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive relationships with site representatives and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing and communication strategies to promote partnerships and drive engagement with partner organizations
  • Staying informed on industry trends and best practices in healthcare partnerships, sharing insights with internal teams
  • Work closely with the externship department and the education department to ensure a positive student experience
  • Other items as assigned by the Director of Healthcare Partnership
