Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Route 1 Hyundai in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. This is a full-time individual contributor role in the auto industry with a base salary plus commission structure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as a proven track record in the automotive industry. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the dealership, including managing accounts receivable and payable, creating and maintaining financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $300,000 per year, with a weekly pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure financing for customers
- Review and analyze credit applications and make financing recommendations to customers
- Negotiate with customers to finalize sales and lease agreements
- Review and finalize all financial paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including collections and vendor payments
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
- Oversee and manage the dealership's budget and financial planning
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, products, and services
- Train and mentor junior finance team members
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Finance Manager in the automotive industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets
- Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
