Job DescriptionJob Description

The Data Processing Housing Specialist performs complexed administrative support work; auditing files and accurately entering data into our proprietary database to process rent determination certification documents, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed independently under the limited supervision of the Recertification Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

Inputs data into software program according to schedule to ensure timely and accurate rental payment.

Reviews and analyzes files and computations for presence of required documentation and accuracy; conducts routine investigations; recommends corrective actions; prepares related reports.

Conducts quality assurance review of program records retrieving data quality reports and updating records for electronic submission.

Maintains system of records.

Develops and recommends forms, manuals, procedural changes to enhance accuracy and consistency.

Works on special projects such as compiling special reviews, analysis, and reports.

Provides customer service via email, telephone, and walk-in visitors.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with coursework in public or business administration, sociology, psychology, or related field and three (3) years of experience in a clerical or data processing role that includes experience analyzing data and preparing reports. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
