Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support the audit process and address any issues.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and tools to streamline the reporting process and enhance accuracy.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in accounting regulations and standards, ensuring timely updates to reporting practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (GAAP or IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes is a plus.
