We are adding a Senior Provider Finance Specialist to our Global Networks team The Senior Provider Finance Specialist is responsible for investigating and resolving escalated claims and financial issues for contracted providers and facilities. This position oversees database of provider and facility banking information. The Senior Provider Finance Specialist is responsible for provider retention relevant to claims and business issues and supports the Team Lead – Provider Finance with case assignments and special projects as needed.


Responsibilities:

· Supports Team Lead – Provider Finance with day-to-day case assignments to team for researching and resolving escalated claims issues for contracted providers and facilities

· Assists Team Lead – Provider Finance with training and coaching of Provider Finance Specialists.

· Collaborates with Team Lead – Provider Finance and Manager – Global Networks to identify solutions to trending escalated claims issues and implements determined solutions with the rest of the Provider Finance Team.

· Assists Team Lead – Provider Finance with assigning Provider Finance cases to the team of Provider Finance Specialists.

· Manages research and resolution of escalated claims issues reported by contracted providers and facilities.

· Directly manages high-profile and/or complex Provider Finance cases.

· Works effectively with colleagues in Account Management, Claims, Finance, and Global Service Center to investigate and resolve issues.

· Builds and maintains relationships with contracted doctors and hospitals.

· Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree at a minimum.

· 2-5 years international finance or international insurance experience.

· Ability to work effectively with international providers and internal staff.

· Maintains a positive and professional work environment.

· Extremely detail oriented.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and math skills.

· Substantial international travel or expatriate experience.

· Excellent knowledge of world geography.

· Familiarity with Claims, GSC, and Finance functions.

· Fluency in one or more foreign languages.

· Familiarity with Microsoft office, especially Word and Excel.

· Data and trend analysis experience.

· Familiarity with Salesforce a plus.

· Employee is required to have at minimum an internet speed of 75 Mbps (standard high-speed internet access).



Working Conditions:

· Flexibility to work in an office and/or at-home, remote office environment.

· Overtime and/or schedule flexibility are occasionally necessary in this position. Individual may be required to attend key business/departmental meetings and/or perform certain business critical job functions outside of normal working hours.

· Physical Demands: Must be able to communicate internally and externally through receiving and responding to auditory and visual methods.


Competitive base pay starting at $27/hr. Compensation is based on prior/relevant experience and skill level in a similar role.
