Maintenance Technician (Afternoon Shift)
Role Overview:
As the Maintenance Technician on duty, you will serve as the primary resource for all machinery repairs and routine maintenance during the afternoon shift. Your role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency by addressing both electrical and mechanical issues proactively.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work hours scheduled for the afternoon shift beginning at 2:00 PM.
- Conduct and prioritize preventative maintenance activities to enhance safety, quality, and productivity, and to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform comprehensive troubleshooting to accurately determine the underlying issues of malfunctioning equipment, executing repairs that are both safe and lasting, avoiding temporary solutions.
- Tackle maintenance tasks that encompass electrical components, mechanical parts, and software troubleshooting.
- Engage in special projects, including the installation of new machinery and improvements to the facility, as time allows.
- Collaborate with team members across the organization during daily gemba walks, fostering strong professional relationships and a deep understanding of the assembly lines' operational needs.

- Possess a genuine enthusiasm for problem-solving and machinery repair.
- Strong proficiency in electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills, capable of working independently without detailed documentation or external vendor assistance.

- Practical experience using a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and technologically advanced equipment, including those controlled by PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and PCs.

- Keen attention to detail with the capability to manage simultaneous tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Open and enthusiastic about learning new skills and advancing alongside the organization.
