FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Prepared/Revised Date: September 2024

Summary: Responsible for maintaining efficient operations and upkeep/cleanliness of the property grounds, amenities, show units, common areas, and buildings in a supportive role under the direction of supervisory personnel. Duties of operations include:

  • Primary task will be to clean and degrease the Kitchen outlets floors, equipment surfaces, etc.
  • Second will be Pool maintenance. Cleaning, adding chemicals brushing tiles, taking chemical readings etc.
  • Execute and sustain the daily upkeep/cleanliness of the property buildings, amenities, common areas, and grounds, including trash pickup and snow removal if applicable.
  • Perform all duties safely and efficiently by following the company safety policies.
  • Paint, and wash ceilings, woodwork, outdoor furniture, and common areas.
  • Dust and disinfect doorknobs, furniture, and bathrooms.
  • Clean surfaces, appliances, furnishings, floors, walls, windows, bathrooms, balconies, and patios in vacant units and common areas including interior hallways, elevators, walkways, stairwells, fitness rooms, community rooms, public bathrooms, Etc.
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Ensure control and cleaning of trash areas.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
  • Cleans trash from planters’ boxes and plant areas
  • Participate in ongoing property preventative maintenance plan.
  • Assist maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment at all times and report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents, and property operations, which may constitute a physical or liability hazard to the Supervisor.
  • and Cleaning supplies by reporting it to the overnight engineer.
  • Wear the required property uniform and always ensure a professional appearance and attitude..
  • Always demonstrate a courteous and efficient response.
  • Uphold the philosophy that guests are the number one priority and provide exceptional guest service
  • Other duties periodically may be assigned by the Director Of Engineering

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1- year of experience as a Janitorial / Porter in an apartment or hotel industry or 2 or more years in a related field; or equivalent background.
  • Full-Time Position
  • Weekends may be required
  • Must have a current and valid Driver's License or ID.
  • Must have a good history of dependability and job performance

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
