Position Overview: As a Front of House Associate at Eximius Associates, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. You will manage guest interactions, oversee the presentation of the event space, and coordinate with other team members to ensure a seamless operation. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Oversee the presentation and cleanliness of the front-of-house area, ensuring it is always welcoming and up to company standards.
  • Manage guest flow, including seating arrangements, reservations, and special requests, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Provide information about our events, services, and facilities, assisting guests with inquiries and offering recommendations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and event staff to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Handle guest concerns and feedback with professionalism, resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Assist with event setup, including décor and table arrangements, to ensure the space is prepared for guests.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and inventory management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Act as a liaison between guests and other departments to ensure all needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a front-of-house, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using reservation software and basic office equipment.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality or event management are a plus.
