Position Overview

Responsible for providing technical support to both internal and external customers - will be the sole point of contact for complex technical questions and escalations

Essential Job Functions

  • Present and resolve complex technical information and solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Work with Product Managers to define and enhance escalation calls process
  • Provides solutions to questions/issues from external customers such as (but not limited to) agents, specifiers, engineers, distributors, electrical contractors, end users
  • Initiates dialog that goes beyond the initial customer need to understand and recommend alternative or broader solutions.
  • Work with customers and sales team to understand project requirements and provide the appropriate technical and application support
  • Offer technical assistance and application guidance to the sales team from project pre-design and specification through installation including wiring diagrams, photometric layouts and controls layouts

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of five years lighting technical or application support experience; wiring of luminaires and controls a plus
  • AG132 experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to travel at minimum 25% - domestic and internationally
