Sales Associate Full-Time (32 hrs/week) Experienced

About:

We are looking for a Sales Associate who is kind, personable, and empathetic to customer needs. An ideal candidate has a desire to listen and connect with each guest to deliver exceptional service. Sales Associates offer educated product recommendations based on client needs and remain curious about plant medicine. This is a Full-Time position that requires weekend availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate guests about a variety of hemp-derived products, strains, as well as appropriate dosing and safety measures when consuming cannabis.
  • Inform guests of specials, discounts, and promotions.
  • Be on time and ready to work each shift.
  • Maintain proper cash handling procedures and ensure transaction accuracy.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures, organizing, and cleaning are completed each day.
  • Assist with store maintenance; completing tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and pre-packing products for sale when applicable.
  • Maintain a stoAcked and clean work station.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Must pass any required background checks
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Physical Requirements: While performing job responsibilities, employees are regularly required to perform grasping, walking, standing, talking, and repetitive motions; lifting up to 25 pounds. This position may include walking or standing for extended periods of time. There may be exposure to moderate noise level and artificial lights - in addition to prolonged use of office equipment, including computers and phones.
  • Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from management.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Familiarity using Point-of-Sales (POS) systems such as Square
  • Familiarity using team-focused apps such as Slack & Square Teams
  • Personal Knowledge & Curiosity about Plant Medicine
  • Skilled Team Member capable of working in close proximity with others
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Excellent Listening & Communication Skills
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized
  • Capable of Multitasking

Compensation:

$18/hr

Schedule:
  • 8 - hour Shifts
  • Weekend Availability
