Azamara is seeking an innovative, passionate, detail oriented, and organized Senior Data Analyst to help evolve and propel our team during a time of exciting growth.​​​​
We are looking for a Senior data analyst to help us support the acquisition and transformation of data to enable better business decisions using information from our Internal Transactional Source Systems and any other identified external systems. Your task is to gather and prepare data from multiple sources, validate and maintain data quality, work with Source System owners to capture additional data to support future business intelligence needs or fix data quality issues, and understand how data is transformed to support BI reporting needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: (Job Duties)
  • Understanding the business requirements to formulate the problems to solve and restrict the slice of data to be explored.
  • Collecting data from various sources.
  • Performing cleansing, processing, and validation on the data subject to analyze, in order to ensure its quality.
  • Performing analysis and experiments to derive business insights.
  • Communicating the findings from the analysis to turn information into something actionable through reports, dashboards, and/or presentations.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR: (Requirements)
  • Has more than 8-10 years of experience working in the “Data Engineering” area in BI Teams preferably with Cruise Companies.
  • Highly Proficient in SQL.
  • Should have had more than 4 years of experience in using ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS
  • More than 8 years of Experience working with SQL databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and preferably at least 1-2 years working with Snowflake
  • Must have experience in coding and development in AWS cloud and Azure platforms
  • Has good Cruise Industry experience and preferably worked for more than 4 years of industry experience
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Great communication skills.
