Operations Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides excellent customer service and develop successful customer relationships.

Efficiently reviews deposit and loan documents and maintains accuracy of GL accounts.

Review and verify accuracy of deposit and loan documents, payment processing, and generate notices and reports.

Adheres to and ensures compliance of bank policies and procedures .

Positively and productively contribute to team environment.

Provide support for completion of deposit and loan sales activities: including account maintenance, CD and safe deposit box management, request processing, debit card and check orders and disputes, and merchant services.

Perform routine administrative tasks in support of the deposit & loan departments.

Maintain compliance logs; provide all needed files and information for the department.

Maintain product and banking industry knowledge through formal and informal training channels.

Contribute to profitability through risk management, and adherence to policies, procedures, and prescribed security controls to protect against criminal and fraudulent activity.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Proficient knowledge of terms, features, and procedures for processing deposit transactions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to interact with and serve customers courteously and efficiently; Time management, organizational skills, and adaptability

Effectively communicate through listening, writing, questioning, and oral presentation
