About the Position

Dexis is seeking senior Law Enforcement Training Instructors to facilitate trainings for international law enforcement and civilian security personnel audiences around the globe. Topics of these trainings may include anti-terrorism planning and coordination - including investigation, intelligence gathering, sharing technology, creating alliances and regional partnerships - and other relevant security assistance-related topics. Instructors will have to conduct these services in OCONUS locations in various threat-level environments.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project teammates in classroom preparation and materials inventory.
  • Develop course materials or familiarize yourself with standardized materials.
  • Administer pre/post knowledge surveys using approved formats.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational activities as reflected in the program of instruction.
  • Responsible for following Lead Instructor guidance, presentations, and exercises in accordance with approved guidelines and directives.
  • In some circumstances, serving as the Lead Instructor, providing guidance and support to other Instructors on presentations and running exercises, and leading all reporting while in-country.
  • As applicable, administer skills evaluations using approved formats.
  • As applicable, administer course critiques to course participants using approved formats.
  • Maintain high level of professionalism outside of normal training hours and during interaction with relevant personnel, course participants, and training venue officials.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities related to course delivery and preparation as instructed by Dexis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive professional experience being a Staff Instructor of similar trainings.
  • Experience in a senior role within law enforcement, especially with federal agencies.
  • Experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • Professional experience working and/or delivering trainings in OCONUS settings, especially in medium- to high-threat environments.
