Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative for BeLatina, you will be responsible for generating appointments with various multi-cultural agencies, brands, and businesses who have a focus on reaching the Hispanic/multi-cultural market. Through various forms of outreach, including cold-calls, email prospecting, and social media outreach, the Business Development Representative schedules appointments for sales leadership to close deals for BeLatina Digital and TV.
Candidates must have a firm understanding of the market, familiarity with social media and digital marketing tactics, social media reporting, and the overall media landscape.
Business Development Representatives dedicated to BeLatina are responsible for:
- Prospecting for new business clients and partnerships through multi-touch marketing campaigns including email prospecting, social media outreach, and cold-calling.
- Research potential clients and partners for the target audience.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries generated through drip marketing campaigns.
- Perform lead nurturing activities to build relationships with prospective clients with the goal of earning their business.
- Set appointments for senior members of the business development team.
- Maintain current and accurate information within the assigned CRM.
- Attend networking events within the local South FL market as assigned.

Requirements for this Business Development Representative role include:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field, or the equivalent experience.
- Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with decision makers including executives and marketing professionals.
- Possess energetic phone presence and ability to connect with others via phone.
- Prior business-to-business sales experience preferred.
- Prior experience in TV or radio ad sales a plus.
- 2+ yeas experience in digital marketing or online publishing.
- Computer proficient with intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong social media familiarity.
- Must be bi-lingual, Spanish speaking.
