Job Title: Grants Management Specialist
Work Hours: Work Schedule will be set with the Grants Director on a weekly basis and is based on workload need.
Period Of Performance: 12 Month Contract
Part-Time
Location: Remote
Tasks:
The employee shall assist the customer in all aspects of federal funds financial management and regulatory program support for recipients of grant dollars and State appraiser licensing and certification programs that fall under customers jurisdiction.
- Supports the complete life cycle of grants, from pre-award preparation through implementation and closeout.

- Serves an integral role in ensuring that all objectives and deliverables throughout the grant’s life cycle are successfully achieved.
- Work as part of a team or as individual contributor.
- Prepares memos for grants and program officers to document acceptance/approval of final reports and any other required deliverables.
- Reviews grants and agreement applications for compliance, clarity and completeness.
- Monitors grantees' continuing operations to ensure compliance with the provisions of awards.
- Provides cost analysis of approved grant applications.
- Track grants payments and fund balances to develop status and statistical information.
- Work with team members and stakeholders to review project budgets.
- Prepares award documents and assists in administering awarded grants including receipt and approval of change requests.
- Assists in the training and technical assistance to grantees.
- Conducts resolution of audit findings, and administrative closeout of expired grants.
- Assists in negotiating, preparing, and administering grants, cooperative agreements, or other
related instruments. - Use internal administrative and financial controls or systems to maintain and update existing
grants and agreements. - Support creation of SAM accounts for all grant-eligible entities (55 States/Territories and the Appraisal Foundation and other organizations as identified).
- Respond to inquiries and address modifications and/or extensions of performance periods for
completion of partners, grants and agreements work. - Other grants/policy-related activities as needed by the agency.
