Patient Account Representative

Based in Nashville, TN, PatientFocus works with healthcare providers across the US exclusively servicing the patient-pay revenue cycle. PatientFocus functions as an extension of our clients’ billing office, providing complete patient financial engagement and payment management after insurance.

PatientFocus is seeking an energetic, customer service oriented professional to execute key responsibilities within our Patient Assistance and Revenue Cycle team. The primary function of this role is to council and assist patients navigating what can be a confusing billing process. (Fast Paced)


Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide an exceptional patient experience through superior customer service, problem solving, one-call account resolution, and respectful compassionate and caring patient interactions
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal guidelines, regulations, and departmental policies, practices and procedures
  • Process patient complaints, seek resolution, and implement solutions
  • Inbound and outbound calls
  • Other tasks and duties commensurate with the position

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to make and receive 100+phone calls a day with patients to drive revenue
  • Proven ability of how health insurance companies work
  • Detail oriented with strong written and oral communications skills
  • Solution and outcome focused
  • Healthcare and billing knowledge (HIPAA)
  • Bilingual in Spanish
