POSITION OVERVIEW

NBME is seeking a Program Manager who, as a member of the Customer Success team, will collaborate with medical schools and health professions training programs, providing expertise and guidance in the effective utilization of assessment portfolios to drive improvements in student learning outcomes. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of one or more of the following: medical, STEM, or health professions education, assessment methodologies, and/or educational technology, as well as a proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement and sales. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience will be considered.

This role has been designated as primarily remote, meaning it requires little to no onsite attendance. While this role can be designated as remote, you are offered the flexibility to select if you prefer to work primarily remotely, hybrid, or onsite. We're open to considering candidates within 50 miles of our office location in Philadelphia, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a liaison between NBME and key stakeholders to ensure successful customer experience.
  • Perform account management and sales functions to drive customer satisfaction, business, and mission outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with NBME Outreach, Product Management, Marketing and Communications, Business Operations, and the Customer Services and Resource Center teams to identify and effectively meet customer needs spanning NBME's portfolio of products and services.
  • Create, maintain, and expand external relationships with domestic and international medical schools and other critical stakeholders and customer groups to help inform Product Management about current and future needs for services and products provided to medical schools.
  • Flexibility for travel to medical schools and conferences as needed (approximately 10% time)
  • Expected attendance at quarterly in-office workdays and other meetings/sessions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other team members
  • Capacity for creative problem-solving and the ability to anticipate project needs
  • Comfort with both ambiguity and change
  • Experience with MS Office applications; specifically, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Salesforce/CRM experience is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience engaging with diverse customer stakeholder groups. Consultative sales or similar experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience using data to identify market needs, trends, and indicators to drive business activity and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of assessment, assessment science research, and/or medical education is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
