Job Overview

Reporting into the Chief People Officer and working closely with the Chief Clinical Officer, the Director of Organization Development and Training is responsible for the development and implementation of organization effectiveness and training programs across the organization. This role involves assessing company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify training solutions for employees that align with MySpot's culture and continued success. The Director of Organization Development and Training position is responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members, particularly executives and emerging leaders. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate and enhance performance. This position plays a pivotal role in advancing the culture of excellence and learning at MySpot.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive world class training, delivery and performance and continuous improvement for the company
  • Research and identify technology solutions for a Learning Management System and virtual training options
  • Coordinate the scheduling and implementation of New Hire training, cross training, and refresher training classes across the organization
  • Provide ongoing development and implementation of clinical program, leadership and professional development
  • Obtain and/or develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
  • Develops and maintains organizational communications such as intranet bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources
  • Conduct annual training and development needs assessment
  • Play a lead role in content development for new employee orientation, new leader onboarding, clinical career ladders, and succession planning for leadership teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Masters Degree or equivalent in Education and Training, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum of five years experience in a training and development role
  • SHRM-SCP or Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) preferred
