Financial Systems Technology Senior Manager

  • Investment Planning: Develop and maintain technology and process roadmaps for strategic investment planning.
  • Support Services Management: Manage support services to meet SLAs for break/fixes and small enhancements.
  • Release Management: Plan and implement system releases.
  • Information Security: Design and operate controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of financial information services.
  • People Development: Implement strategies for team development and engagement.
  • Data Governance: Lead and oversee financial systems data architecture and governance.
  • Project Management: Manage projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion.
  • System Integrations: Design and implement seamless system integrations across platforms and services.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Jack Henry Symitar technologies and integrations preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of credit union products, services, policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Programming Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of application programming languages and methodologies.
  • IT Operations: Strong knowledge of IT operations, network, and server administration.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage individuals and teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient mathematical skills for technical and financial analysis.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer and software skills.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Stress Management: Ability to maintain emotional control under stress and handle multiple deadlines.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Technological environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting, typing, speaking, hearing, and visual acuity for application development.
  • Hazards: Exposure to hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, chemical fumes, and electrical hazards.
  • Hours: Potential for prolonged and/or unusual hours, including on-call status.

Equipment Used:

  • Desktop computer, servers, printer, calculator, multi-line phone system, mobile phone, copier, fax machine, scanners, laptop/tablet, and multiple monitors.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in application systems, information technology, computer information systems, or related field required.
  • Experience: Seven or more years with Symitar application and related technologies, and modern programming management (e.g., .NET, HTML, Java).
