About the Roles

As a Lab Associate or Technician, you will be instrumental in performing the technical aspects of various assigned tests, ensuring compliance with GLP, USDA, and AAALAC guidelines. The schedule for these roles is from Sunday to Thursday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with training conducted from Monday to Friday. We are seeking dedicated individuals for immediate consideration, so apply today to be part of our dynamic team

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various tests, including injections, patching and wrapping, implantation of test substances, observations, necropsies, and collecting bodily fluids, following internal SOP/protocol guidelines.
  • Handle animals humanely and prepare them for testing, which may include shaving, weighing, identifying, and anesthetizing the animals.
  • Execute routine assignments per written procedures, requiring the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practices.
  • Work under close supervision from a supervisor or senior personnel, receiving minimal instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Contribute to overall operations and departmental goals.
  • Perform job-specific tasks in compliance with applicable regulations, international standards, and WuXi AppTec Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Background in Animal Science
  • Experience with GLP/GMP
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • CVT certification preferred
  • AALAS certification preferred
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
