Our Fleetwood Outpatient office is searching for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team of behavioral health professionals and partner with us in our mission to bring hope, offer opportunity, and inspire change.
The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, enjoy working directly with consumers, and be ready to take on this important role in our daily operations. You will serve as an initial point of contact for our services ensuring that administrative duties, communications, scheduling, responding to consumer inquires, and managing special assignments for our Outpatient office setting are handled in a professional and timely manner.
Could also cover Wyomissing, Bethlehem, or Easton as needed
What Do I Need?
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
AND
2 years of related clerical and/or behavioral health experience (preferred)
Other Requirements
- You will display solid customer service skills.
- You will have proficiency using a variety of office equipment and computer programs. You will have strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- You will be able to demonstrate effective, clear verbal and written communication skills.
- You will have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with all stakeholders. You will be both a team player and work well independently.
What Will I Do?
- You will be responsible for routine office tasks to include answering phones, data entry, copying, faxing, scanning, and opening/closing the office.
- You will be the first point of contact for clients handling intakes and scheduling of appointments foam-r psychiatrists and psychologists.
- You will verify client insurance eligibility.
- You will obtain prior authorizations through insurance companies for services as needed.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the clients electronic medical records system.
- You will be responsible for routing office tasks to include answering phones, data entry, copying, faxing, scanning, and opening/closing the office.
- You will prepare and send a variety of letters.
- You will support supervisors with reconciliation of encounter forms, prepare doctor invoices, and complete a variety of reports.
Hours of Work
Monday-Thursday 12:00PM-8:00PM
Friday 10:00AM-6:00PM
