The Director will also play a crucial role in strategic planning, budgeting, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure operations comply with company policies and procedures.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for short- and long-term goals, effectively communicating the company's mission and core values to implement positive change and organizational structure.
- Operational Oversight: Lead operational efforts through subordinates to ensure the effective administration of business processes and services, achieving goals within the assigned business units.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee revenue cycle operations to ensure successful management of receivables and efficient functioning of the revenue cycle.
- Technology Utilization: Utilize AI and other advanced technologies to automate RCM processes where possible, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

- Process Improvement: Develop and refine procedures within the assigned functional areas, providing recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a continuous improvement mindset within the team, encouraging innovative solutions and process enhancements.
- Training and Development: Provide appropriate training to the team to ensure maximum efficacy and efficiency in operations.
- Succession Planning: Collaborate with employees to establish clear and concise development plans, ensuring succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.
- Employee Engagement: Offer leadership, guidance, and coaching to all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce, partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and assist with various projects as assigned.
- Work Environment Management: Ensure the physical demands and work environment characteristics are conducive to performing essential job functions, providing reasonable accommodations as necessary.
- Supervision: May directly supervise various levels of accounts receivable, billing, collections, and/or reimbursement staff.
Qualifications
Skill Set:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technology Implementation: Proven experience with AI and advanced technology implementation in RCM processes.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Strategic Planning: Excellent strategic planning and operational management abilities.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle processes, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
