The Retail Sales Lead plays a crucial role in our retail environment by ensuring the smooth operation of the store during designated shifts.  The position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to problem solving.  As a Retail Sales Lead, you will assist in supervising the store staff, ensuring compliance with company polices, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. 

  • Open and close the store per scheduled shifts, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.  Ensure store is secure at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating the activities of the retail staff during assigned shifts.  Provide guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, preparing deposits, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory levels.  Assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising product as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to security, safety, and loss prevention.
  • Address any issues or concerns that arise during shifts, escalating to management as needed for timely resolution.  
  • Performs other related duties as required
  • Assist and help guests to achieve sales goals and targets
  • Effectively process transactions through Retail POS system
  • Other Related duties as directed by management 
 

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to guests and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least 8 consecutive hours and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.  Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds at a time
  • Must be willing to work peak hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management
  • Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office
Starting Rate of $16.00/hr
