Job Summary

The Junior Project Manager reports to the Vice President of Global Operations and Supply Chain and plays a vital role in ensuring the success, execution, and completion of projects within predetermined deadlines and budgets. You will assist in coordinating project activities, communicating with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in developing strategic project plans aligned with organizational objectives, incorporating insights from business and finance perspectives.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to monitor project budgets, timelines, analyze financial data, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Apply sound business judgment and analytical skills to assess project risks, opportunities, and impacts on the organization's overall performance.
  • Utilize your experience with company mergers to contribute to the planning and execution of M&A-related projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may affect project delivery or business outcomes, collaborating with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including financial reports, status updates, and risk assessments, to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize project processes, streamline workflows, and enhance project delivery efficiency through the application of best practices and lessons learned.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Microsoft Excel, etc.) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in project management or coordination roles is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with mergers or acquisitions is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with budgeting and proposals is desirable.
