The Adult Ministries Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for all of our Groups and Outreach at Hills Church. You’ll work with the Adult Pastor and our Outreach Team to coordinate and oversee all processes for helping people take their next step in community and serving with us to reach the cities along the 50 corridor and around the world


The Adult Ministries Administrative Assistant will also be instrumental in managing registrations and communications for group activities, coordinating room bookings, facilitating connections for group participants, and contributing to our mission of supporting outreach efforts along the 50 corridor. This role ensures a seamless experience for everyone involved.



IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Work with an amazing team dedicated to building community and serving our neighbors.
  • Provide full administrative support for our Groups & Outreach teams.
  • Serve as the primary admin for our For the Fifty Outreach, Groups, & Care.
  • Provide follow-up with people looking to connect into community with others, and mobilize them for compassionate outreach.
  • Provide administrative support for all adult ministry activities, including coordinating groups, tracking group attendance, maintaining our database, reserving meeting spaces, registrations, calendaring, email and text communications, and facilitating sign-ups.
  • Additional ministry opportunities and administrative responsibilities will be determined based on the church’s needs and the applicant’s gifts, expertise, and experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MUST-HAVES:

  • Demonstrates an ongoing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience (or ability to learn) Planning Center Online People Management.
  • A passion to see people get connected into an authentic Christ-centered community.
  • Love to help provide environments where people can grow in their faith.
  • High-level networking/relational strengths with an ability to execute.
  • A servant-leader temperament – willing to walk alongside people and serve them.
  • Growth-orientated and see the potential in those around you.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills – very administrative.
  • Proficient in Google Drive Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and the use of Mac & PC’s.


NICE-TO-HAVES:

  • Experience working or high-level volunteering for a church or non-profit.
  • Previous ministry participation and experience.
  • You can appreciate different types of humor and go with the flow.
