You will be part of a team known for its excellence in developing, inspecting, mining, transforming, and modeling data to enhance productivity and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data models to improve business decision-making and gain competitive advantage.
  • Inspect, mine, transform, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to ensure accurate predictive forecasting and classification.
  • Manage all aspects of the data lifecycle, including data collection, cleaning, transformation, and storage.
  • Maintain and optimize analytical systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of data and analytics processes.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and analytical systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and analytical techniques.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on data-related projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of full-time professional experience in data science, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Strong experience with data processing tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Hadoop.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
  • Strong background in business analytics and the ability to translate data insights into business strategies.
  • Experience in industries such as missile defense, cybersecurity, biotechnology, or space control marketspaces.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
