Quality Control Inspector


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products and labeling to verify compliance with design and manufacturing. requirements.
  • Inspection activity shall include the frequent use of microscopes as well as the use of optical and mechanical measurement and inspection of instruments.
  • Perform accurate counts of products inspected to meet sampling criteria.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records of goods inspected, passed, and rejected.
  • Meet time standards for inspection cycle times.
  • Properly gown for work in environmentally controlled areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards for work areas.
  • Effective collaboration with other staff members helping to provide an efficient and productive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic math and computer skills are required.
  • Quality Experience preferred
  • Organizational and computer skills
  • Degree a plus but not required
  • Certification a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, GDP, CGMP, FDA (21 CFR 820, 21 CFR part 803, 21 CFR part 806) regulations, MDSAP preferred but not required


Anodyne Surgical is a privately held, mid-size manufacturing company specializing in producing disposable ophthalmic needles for eye surgery - typically cataract removal and LASIK. We are located near the intersection of I-64 and Highway K in O'Fallon, MO.
