General Summary:

The Coordinator of Outreach Services reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services. The Coordinator of Outreach Services may oversee a small caseload in the event of hiring needs to continue the effective delivery of services for the clients and support the staff on their caseload. The individual will be responsible for overseeing BCBAs across Home-Based and Firefly South Clinic conducting evaluations, completing scheduling assignments, setting up intakes, case transfers, documentation, assisting BCBAs with insurance denials and pending cases. Will provide supervision across BCBAs caseload as a 2nd observer 1x per month or more as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and active BCBA Certification (required)
  • 3 years minimum BCBA experience
  • Experience of providing ABA services to 30+ clients over their career (preferred); experience with a minimum of 20 different clients (required)
  • Previous leadership experience, specifically a supervisory role overseeing BCBAs/RBTs (preferred)
  • 5+ years of ABA experience, working in both clients’ homes and in school setting (preferred)
  • Central Reach experience (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal/social skills with ability to build rapport easily and quickly
  • Organized and efficient, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
  • Team player who is able to work autonomously
  • Administrative background (i.e. scheduling)
  • Willingness to participate in research efforts
  • Able to manage and motivate others intrinsically to achieve desired results
  • Able to commit at least two years to this job (preferred)
  • 2-3 years experience in supervisory capacity working within the field of ABA (preferred)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will require on site supervision 2x’s a week and considered a hybrid position.
  • Advise direct supervisor of scheduling changes or hiring 4 weeks prior to need.
  • Overlaps with other BCBA’s and RBT’s for training purposes will be approved by Director of Clinical Services
  • Asks for supervision and help whenever needed
  • Write reports including, but not limited to:
    • Observation Summaries
    • Initial Consultation Reports
    • Assessment Summaries
    • Treatment Recommendations
  • Complete IOA with BCBAs and RBTs when needed.
    • Review progress of Treatment Plans, and visual summaries on a minimum of triannual basis with Director of Clinical Services.
  • Supervise all outreach team members and scheduling (when applicable) including:
  • Provide competency-based training to staff, teachers, family members, and others as necessary on the implementation of behavior programming, including current BIP and required data collection
  • Monitor the provision of behavior programming
  • Provide positive interaction with clients and staff and family members and respect individual differences
  • Ensure compliance with all state, local, and funding source standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and train others to do the same. Use safety procedures when moving individuals during behavioral crisis
  • Report all incidents of abuse/neglect in accordance with the Disabled Abuse Act to the abuse registry and train others to recognize abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Attend meetings and advocate for individuals to assist in the development of goals that are functional, obtainable, and chosen by the individual
  • Consult with other professionals including doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized goals for assigned individuals
  • Maintain communication and collaboration with individuals, family members, social support systems, and service providers as appropriate
  • Attend, participate, and facilitate, as requested, outreach services department meetings, required training, case reviews, staff meetings, and other meetings as requested. Self-monitor training records to ensure that all required certifications/validations are current. Check email account during each work day and respond to all communication promptly
  • Follow, model, and be able to train others in all Firefly Autism and programmatic policies and procedures
  • Other duties and projects assigned and/or requested by supervisor

Physical Requirements of the Job:

The incumbent typically will work across multiple environments using a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle, or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The incumbent may be involved in crisis situations across clients and must be willing to be trained in crisis management and perform the duties required in the current training system.
