Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for money transfer projects.
    • Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • System Design and Documentation:
    • Develop detailed system specifications, including data flow diagrams, process models, and technical documentation.
    • Ensure that system designs meet business needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation and post-launch support.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and customer service, to ensure project success.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance meet specified requirements.
    • Identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
    • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all money transfer systems and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and implement necessary system adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience with money transfer projects and payment processing systems.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to money transfers and financial transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in system analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools is a plus.

Must Skills:

  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • Familiarity with money transfer platforms such as SWIFT, ACH, and wire transfer systems.
