Inventory and Distribution Specialist

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitors the usage of the stock, creates reports related to utilization, coordinates with other departments and recommends changes in inventory. Conducts research and resolves all the inaccuracies in inventory and completes audits of the internal processes.
- Tracks inventory of material from biological asset, through processing, into its state as finished goods inventory.
- Works with extraction team to select and report on biomass batches to be extracted.
- Completes required documentation related to business or regulatory requirements.
- Receives inventory from production and outside vendors. Scans packing slips and tracks inventory in ERP system.
- Verifies batches and quantity for internal transfers.
- Verifies and reports on wet harvest, processing of flower and biomass, and distribution of WIP into various departments.
- Assists with taking samples for testing as needed.
- Reports on movement of materials for state tracking compliance.
- Maintains and reports on the condition of the drying material, conditions of the dry and cure room, and dry and cure process overall. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dry rooms and all associated equipment such as air conditioning, dehumidifiers and humidifiers.

V. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education & Experience: High School Diploma or vocational school, plus three years of experience in a similar role. Must be 21 years of age.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques that maximize the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business principles relating to planning, resource allocation, production methods and coordination of resources.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics and their applications.
- Knowledge of principles of providing customer service including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Active listening skills; strong time-management and critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to set priorities for support staff, and to redirect support staff as priorities or needs change.
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, and recognizing that there is a problem.
- Knowledge and proficiency of use in Excel, inventory tracking software, and Google Suite
- Certifications or Other Requirements:
- Must successfully pass a thorough background check prior to hire, and each successive year during employment.
- Cannabis experience preferred.

Physical demands and potential hazards typically encountered and reasonably anticipated in this position.
