The Role

As a warehouse coordinator you will be contributing to the company’s plan by always looking for ways to improve technician efficiency by having the proper truck stock, frequent restock, and efficient delivery driver dispatching. You will ensure that we are able to accomplish our growth plans by having new vehicles onsite and ready for new staff as they come onboard. You will ensure that our vendor relationships are strong and a win for both parties. You will manage the warranty cycle process. 


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliveries to and from job sites.
  • Verify counts and prices on shipments.
  • Maintain computerized purchase order system.
  • Assist in product and material research for technicians.
  • Manage next day installs and installs in general, with regards to material and equipment staging and materials fulfillment, permitting and customer installation packet creation.
  • Manage new truck inventory set up process and assist with vehicle maintenance coordination.
  • Submit all warranty credit requests within 5 business.  This includes parts, labor and equipment.
  • Follow up on any warranty credits owed greater than 30 days.
  • Work closely with accounting on reconciliation of claims.
  • Ensure technicians understand the process and the importance of what information is needed, and what to do with the parts or equipment.  Keeping in mind the difference between workmanship and warranty. 
  • Communicate clearly, show recognition and build rapport with employees.
  • Shape company culture by living out agreed upon values, specifically ethics and integrity.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software programs and website ordering platforms.
  • Self-starter/resourceful - able to independently work, learn & plan with minimal guidance to drive tasks to conclusion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with field teams, finance team and upper management.
  • Capable of learning on the fly with a focus on problem-solving.
  • A self-motivated leader who is accountable for one’s work.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with data.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
