E-Technologies Group, LLC. seeks Project Manager in South San Francisco, CA.

Proper planning, control and execution of projects. This includes, but is not limited to the following (all Essential):

  • Implementing project procedures and action plans.
  • Implementing and enforcing the procedures as detailed by the Quality System.
  • Knowledge and application of Personal Protective Equipment procedures.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules as required.
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets.
  • Directing and coordinating all work related to assigned projects.
  • Assuring performance of design and engineering functions in accordance with accepted practices and company standards and policies.
  • Interface with the Client as necessary to obtain and communicate project information related to project design parameters, schedules and budgets.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation including proposals, project budgets, memos, letters, meeting minutes, scope changes and associated documents.
  • Maintaining project communications with internal staff and the client through regular review meetings and frequent contact.
  • Conduct pre-project review meetings and project review meetings to insure total project awareness to include generation of meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Maintaining project correspondence files.
  • Assuring that contractual requirements are satisfied.
  • Assuring the proper timing and content for project invoices.
  • Issue and administer subcontracts.
  • Develop, submit and negotiate contract change orders.
  • Closing project files and preparing final job recaps and critiques as required upon the completion of projects.
  • Coordinate with other Project Managers and the Engineering Manager as required with regard to the assignment of personnel to project teams. (Essential)
  • Recommend changes to the Quality System as needed to upgrade the performance and expertise of the Company.
  • Maintain and develop positive client relations and work opportunities. (Essential)
  • Participate in industry professional societies and society events.
  • Develop potential project opportunities.
  • Support business development activities including client meetings, project scope development and definition, project scheduling and estimating.
  • Prepare project scopes of work, preliminary design concepts, and cost estimates for all sizes of projects. (Essential)
  • Maintain and submit accurate project budgets to Engineering Manager and Client for evaluation of productivity and schedule variance. (Essential)
  • Control all sizes of projects including productivity, manhours usage, project changes and adherence to predefined scope of services. (Essential)
  • Direct subordinate project personnel. (Essential)
  • Work with Engineering Manager and other Project Managers to implement methods to improve company work flow. (Essential)
  • Provide work environment conducive to a learning experience for subordinate personnel. (Essential)
  • Provide performance review input on personnel assigned to projects concerning their performance, attitude, potential and areas of development. (Essential)
  • Represent the Company in professional organizations and societies related to the industry.
  • 15% travel is required for position. (Essential)

Requires bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related plus five years of experience. Requires 5 Years of experience in Proposal Generation, Budget Management, Project, Planning, Technical Communication, Project Management. 100% telecommuting permitted. Requires up to 15% domestic travel.
