  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED). College Degree preferred
  • One (1) year related experience in hospitality or service industry
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace
  • Ability to speak effectively after groups of co-workers and sister property staff
  • Ability to create documents in Excel and Word

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure all employees adhere to dress code policies for their scheduled shift
  • Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding food service
  • Train and supervise workers in food preparation, and in service, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards
  • Control inventories of food, beverages, equipment, dishes, silverware, and all other utensils, and report shortages to designated personnel
  • Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures in order to ensure quality standards and service
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to employees in accordance with work requirements
  • Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety
  • Greet and seat guests, and present menus and wine lists
  • Perform serving duties and assist food runners when necessary
  • Present bills and accept payments when necessary
  • Monitor employee and patron activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed
  • Purchase or requisition supplies and equipment needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of services
  • Fully support the Restaurant Manager in the day to day operations of the restaurant
