As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing NCM’s communication strategies and ensuring consistent messaging across various channels. Working closely with the communications team and other departments, you will help plan, execute, and evaluate communication initiatives to promote our brand, engage stakeholders, and achieve organizational goals. Providing guidance to leadership on effectively communicating company goals and changes is also a key aspect of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute internal communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Manage internal communication channels such as newsletters, company share point, and company-wide meetings.
  • Provide guidance and support to leadership in effectively communicating company goals, updates, and changes to employees.
  • Develop and execute external communication strategies to enhance the company's brand image and reputation.
  • In partnership with Marketing, creates content for press releases, website, social media, and other external communication channels.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of and communication initiatives.
  • Support NCM’s Values committee with communications to foster employee engagement, teamwork, and morale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or other relevant areas of study preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years related work experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office.
  • High energy level.
  • High comfort level speaking with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to prioritize changing workloads.
  • Ability and willingness to continually learn on the job.
  • Professional and resourceful.
