Position Description:

The Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, with a specific focus on Power Apps. This role involves day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of these platforms to ensure seamless operation and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Typically reports to a manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
  • Assist in the installation of operating systems software, patches, and upgrades.
  • Assist in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software and networking issues.
  • Develop and maintain Power Apps applications to streamline business processes and improve user efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement Power Apps and AI solutions.
  • Provide technical support for Power Apps, addressing user issues and implementing solutions promptly.
  • Day-to-day work with Microsoft compliance & security.
  • Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Participate in regular system audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Support other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned by the IT Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on PowerApps.
  • Experience with Power Apps development and customization.
  • Basic understanding of networking, server administration, and IT security principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals

PREFERRED Requirements:

  • Microsoft certifications related to Power Apps, Azure or general IT administration.
  • Experience with other Microsoft 365 applications and services including Azure AI, MS Copilot and PowerBi
  • Experience with AI tools and platforms from Microsoft, AWS, Google and OpenAI.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,675 to $120,125 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this role is $101,900. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
