Summary: The WIC Director performs a variety of leadership and administrative duties and provides a positive customer service experience. The Director manages overall operations and is directly responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating WIC services in accordance with state and federal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Overall WIC program management through assessing project needs and participant's health and nutritional status
• Responsible for caseload management, clinic flow, clinic schedules to serve participant needs and client services
• Accurately review monthly reports including nutrition, utilization, referrals and quality improvement initiatives preparing reports to internal and external stakeholder when requested
• Ensures all staff are trained and held accountable for operations of WIC program per designated roles and responsibilities including but not limited to issuing vouchers, vendor monitoring, completion of monthly reporting, civil rights and nondiscrimination/equal opportunity policies, and chart accuracy
• Responsible for implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and submission of nutritional education work plan as directed
• Provide oversight, communicate and collaborate with Project Nutritionist and Breastfeeding Coordinator

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree required, preferably in nutritional sciences, dietetics, community nutrition, or public health nutrition
• 3+ years experience in leadership
• Must meet qualifications and requirements specified for a competent professional authority (CPA) per WIC policy

This role will be a full time onsite position located at our Monroe St clinic. We offer a full array of benefits which include medical, dental, vision, 403(b) as well as company paid Short term and Long term disability.
