Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 years' proven experience in a long-term care setting is preferred. Preferably a minimum of 1 years' knowledge and training in the following:

Computer skills -spreadsheets, databases and word processing documentations. Strong Interpersonal Skills. Basic office skills, including typing, filing, supplies/inventory and communication.

Basic Knowledge of:

Medical Terminology

Infection Control Practices.

HIPAA


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides all clerical support to the manager/unit, and assists to cover other unit(s) in that unit secretary's absence.
  • Prepare weekly clinic paperwork and attends clinic with residents.
  • All routine scheduling for residents such as mandatory chart review, labs, medical appointments, etc..
  • Assists residents within scope of job.
