We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Fire Alarm Project Manager to join our passionate team and lead projects that make a real impact on Fire Life Safety

As a Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your skills and talents to lead a project team that strives for excellence in all they do, implement strategies that will drive solid project execution and be a part of creating over the top positive customer experiences that rarely exist in the execution of projects in the fire life safety industry.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of fire alarm system projects, from initiation to completion.

  • Ensure projects are executed within scope, on time, and within budget constraints.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, codes, and regulations.

  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality and compliant solutions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining clear and open communication throughout the project.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide regular updates on project progress.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, installation, and maintenance teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.

  • Identify potential project risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate challenges.

  • Implement effective solutions to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

  • Uphold rigorous standards of quality control, ensuring all installations comply with industry standards and client expectations.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Project Management or related field, or equivalent work experience in the fire life safety industry.

  • 2+ years of project management and/or coordination with demonstrated ability to lead a team without minimal authority, towards achievement of a common goal. Additional experience with the skills, knowledge, and experience in fire life safety construction and service is a plus.

  • NICET certification(s) in Fire Alarm is a plus, as well as previous field experience as a fire technician.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset and high interpersonal savvy and approachability.

  • Proven ability to work in ERP software to track financials and run reports as needed to manage KPIs.

  • Proven abilities to work with Office 365 suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive and OneNote. SharePoint creation/edit a plus.

  • Must be able to travel with occasional off-site meetings and events.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
