What You’ll Do:

  • Support Patient Care: You'll assist physicians, technologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses with various procedures, ensuring that each patient's experience is as smooth and comfortable as possible.
  • Prepare Patients: You'll play a key role in getting patients ready for their procedures, providing clear and compassionate communication before and after their appointments.
  • Versatile Assistance: From helping at the front desk to managing prior authorizations and scheduling, your role will be dynamic and essential to the smooth operation of the center.
  • Emergency Response: You'll be a crucial part of the emergency response team, ensuring the emergency cart and drugs are regularly checked and ready.
  • Maintain Standards: You'll ensure that all supplies are well-stocked, instruments are correctly sterilized, and the sterilizing machine is maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Compliance and Safety: You'll adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and other state and federal regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: With over two years of experience as a Medical Assistant, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role.
  • Education: A high school diploma and a current Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Diploma are essential to your success in this position.
  • Life-Saving Skills: Your current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider/AED ensures you're prepared to act in critical moments.
