Office Manager (remote position)

This position does not oversee/manage any direct reports.

What does an Office Manager do at OPSPro?

The Office Manager position is a full-time, fully remote position with focus on three different aspects:


Accounting

  • Update and manage Accounts Receivable (including invoice creation)
  • Update and manage Accounts Payable (entering invoices, management of aging, year-end 1099 processing)
  • Cash Application (AP and AR)
  • Monitor and review timesheets and expense reports
  • Complete Month End Close including reconciliations and adjusting journal entries

HR

  • Manage employee benefit programs, including open enrollment, terminations, claims, and benefits reconciliation
  • Manage handbook updates, leave of absences, and compliance with applicable Federal, state, and local laws as well as company policies and procedures
  • Monitor employee referral program, 90-day reviews, and HRIS for accurate data collection
  • Liaise with employees regarding employee matters and answer employees' queries about HR-related issues

Payroll

  • Prepare and execute company payroll with multiple states 
  • Maintain all Payroll Reporting for compliance 
  • Ensure the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and PTO         
  • Provide information and answer employee questions about payroll related matters 
  • Manage year-end W2 audit/corrections and distribution 

What experience does the Office Manager need?


Required


  • 5+ years' experience in Accounting (including intermediate understanding of GAAP)
  • 2+ years' experience in HR
  • 2+ years' experience in Payroll
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
  • Experience working well with all levels within a company 
  • Reliable internet and dedicated workspace 



Preferred


  • Experience with Procas is strongly preferred
  • Experience with iSolved/iHire (HRIS & ATS)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or HR
  • Experience working in the service industry
