Job Description

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:Execute sales strategy, marketing plans and programs to meet sales and profitability objectives.  Develop new accounts to support business growth and manage assigned accounts to high level of customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with the Business Unit objectives;
  • Deliver customer programs and promotions to increase sales and expand brand awareness;
  • Develop contacts and relationships at existing and potential accounts;
  • Represent Sika to all primary functions within the customer’s organization;
  • Assist Technical Service in field trials and customer trials;
  • Collaborate with functional support teams to bring solutions to customer needs;
  • Prepare and present high-impact sales presentations and training seminars;
  • Application trainings at customers – support and/or conduct;
  • Achieve sales targets and/or project targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
  • Prepare and submit sales and business reports;
  • Exchange with sales organization, pro-active approach to exceeding customer expectations;
  • Utilize Core Competencies including problem-solving, bonding, consultative selling, etc.
  • Enthusiastically practice the ideas of Sika Spirit;
  • Flexible travel schedule;
  • Lead and guide one direct report and others in a matrix organization. 
Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 10 years’ experience with Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or in related field;
  • 10 years sales experience with track record of successful sales, creativity and innovation;
  • Experience in Window & Door-Production or Sales with existing relationships and contacts; 
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Technical sales skills with good analytical abilities;
  • Highly motivated, self-started team player individual.
