Lindbergh Properties Construction/Mikat, LLC is a family owned residential home builder and Property Management Company. In business since 1983, we have built homes, apartments, and condos and have managed our own portfolio as well as others. We are looking to hire a talented and highly motivated Superintendent to help us grow and expand our business.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on Superintendent. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Must be technically and operationally proficient. Must be able to create and follow schedules within company guidelines.

This is an opportunity for a proven leader to take their career to the next level and play a key role in the continued growth of the company.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Operational

Managing home building on a day-to-day basis including Permit application, utility scheduling, material delivery, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsible for timely, accurate, and efficient building practices.
Ability to track projects with scheduling software.
Ability to schedule deliveries and returns while adjusting for lead times.
Schedule various trades on multiple projects.
Supervise trades to ensure projects are completed properly.
Schedule utility installations.
Schedule municipality inspections.
Communicate project status with office staff.
Visit each project on a daily or as needed basis.
Uphold project timelines.
Ensure Quality Standards are met on each project.
Ensure Budgets are met.
Troubleshoot issues.
Perform Walkthroughs on projects at predetermined points of completion, at minimum:
o Electrical Rough In
o Final Walk Through
o 30 Day Walk Through
Administer Warranty requests and ensure warranty repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure safety guidelines are followed on projects.
Approve material and subcontractor invoices.
o Ensure quantities and billings are correct.
Communicate with homeowners to ensuring selections are incorporated into the build and change orders are issued when necessary.

Skills Requirements

Must have at least 5 years of experience in Construction
Proficient in Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook
Must understand current building practices and codes.
Must have a valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record.
