Maintenance Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at National Beef Leathers of St. Joseph, Missouri. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the facility is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and training to perform their duties.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues that impact production.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain a budget for maintenance-related expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective maintenance plans.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
