We have a unique opportunity for a Paralegal interested in using their paralegal skills in a full-service professional law firm. This position provides substantive and organizational support to Saxton & Stump’s Trucking and Commercial Transportation group. Candidates must have excellent communication, written, and research skills. The ideal candidate will possess experience as a litigation paralegal in a full-service professional law firm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide paralegal support for multiple attorneys
  • Liaise between attorneys and experts to coordinate examinations
  • Compile and prepare records for review by experts
  • Schedule and confirm depositions, meetings, calls, and court dates
  • Draft, revise, proof, and finalize correspondence and other documents
  • Prepare, serve and track subpoenas
  • Review & analyze medical records
  • Discovery
  • Complete filings
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • College Degree preferred
  • 5+ years paralegal experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Litigation experience preferred
  • Experience with state and federal courts in Pennsylvania preferred
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and personal integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to execute projects to completion
  • Detail-oriented
  • Superior time-management skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Location:

The position will be based out of Saxton & Stump’s Harrisburg office. Additional travel may be necessary occasionally, as required by casework.
