Veneer Technologies is looking for a motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team

The Social Media Specialist will be in direct contact with our sister company, Impulse Trading, to find, optimize and maximize all advertising platforms.

We are looking for a creative marketing and community relations individual, with an outstanding ability to create web designs while representing the company across various social platforms. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task is a must Our ideal candidate loves working and learning in a team environment, creating and working toward big goals, all while building relationships both with internal team members and the community.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Develop a corporate social media strategy to include a mix between social media platforms
  • Create a broad social media presence using Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Be responsible for website development, management and updates for both Veneer Tech and Impulse Trading and updating internal announcement monitors
  • Create and maintain weekly blog posts
  • Build strong client relationships by providing proactive communication regarding collaborative marketing goals, showcasing product utilization, and organizing client visits.
  • Provide general sales team support: working with current reps to promote various products, understand customer needs and applications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the community for the purpose of branding, marketing, sponsorship opportunities and volunteer opportunities

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (Communications, Graphic Design, or Marketing preferred)
  • A minimum of 2 years of social media experience in a professional environment
  • Has experience utilizing reporting tools including native platform insights and understands the importance of social media metrics
  • Possesses attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Is able to build and nurture relationships internally and with clients
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and sharp writing skills
  • Has an eye for visual aesthetics, including formatting and layout, and produces polished client deliverables.
