About the Position:

Organizational Data Strategy and Management
  • Collaborate with department leadership to assess current systems, optimize useability in relation to data collection and reporting, and implement new processes as applicable.
  • Ensure effective data tracking to support billing, contract compliance, and to best articulate Lund’s services and vision to constituents.
  • Ensure Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) through data collection, data integrity, and outcome measure reporting.
  • Optimize use of available technology to eliminate paper record keeping, reduce redundancy, and increase efficiency.
  • Deliver comprehensive internal and external reports that are accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate data across multiple systems to reduce repetition and optimize usability.
  • Oversee data entry policies, and the ongoing management of data integrity related to systems.
  • Work with departments to streamline workflows and optimize utilization of systems.
Program Support Team Management
  • Supervises Program Support team and oversees quality assurance, data management and reporting, and grant and contract compliance.
  • Work with Program Support team and program staff to identify and execute electronic health record (EHR) system enhancement requests.
  • Coordinate and maintain EHR user manuals and training guides.
  • Lead the EHR support team to ensure superior customer service is provided.
  • Ensure EHR system and uses meet all Federal and State laws, regulations, procedures and policies.
  • Key point person to communicate with EHR vendor and manage invoicing and service contracts.
Administrative Assistant Team Management
  • Supervises Administrative Assistant staff and ensures team is providing high quality support for clients, staff, vendors and visitors. 
  • Provides support and guidance to assist in developing efficient processes to all administrative functions
  • Manages scheduling of front desk coverage
Revenue Cycle position Management
  • Supervises Revenue Cycle role managing fee for service billing, proper coding and documentation, and claims submissions to maximize billing opportunities.
  • Ensure position is completing provider and new payer credentialing, enrollment and contracting needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Look For:
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3-4 years relevant direct work experience within a healthcare-related industry; behavioral health preferred.
  • 2-3 years minimum experience with healthcare compliance
  • Experience in medical billing and coding with concentrated knowledge of Medicaid and Vermont private insurance billing for substance use and/or mental health.
  • Experience with new payer contracting preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year using and managing an EHR platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams.
  • Valid VT Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation required; statewide travel may be required
  • Upon conditional offer of employment, must be able to successfully pass a background investigation.

  • Proficiency in the use of applicable hardware and software as required for job duties, including but not limited to, experience with Microsoft Excel graphing, and other advanced data visualization and data manipulation functions.
